Since power cords consist of plugs and wires, when needed by the customer, the corresponding plugs and wires can be configured according to customer requirements. For example, whether the plug is a two-pin or three-pin plug, which country's plug is needed, and the required voltage and current; there are various types of power cords: two-core or three-core, with different standards and requirements for different countries. There are different types of wires, such as European standard H03VVH2-F H05VVH2-F H05VV-F, etc., with sizes of 2x0.75mm2 2x1.0mm2 3x0.75mm2 3x1.0mm2... The length of the wire is also a consideration. With so many specifications and requirements, we must communicate fully with the customer, and if necessary, we need to provide samples to the customer for confirmation.
So what is the structure of a power cord? The structure of a power cord mainly consists of three parts.
The first part is the outer sheath, which usually protects the internal structure from damage and ensures the power cord can be used safely and normally. The outer sheath is in direct contact with the outside world, so it usually has characteristics such as insulation resistance, high resistance, cold resistance, oil resistance, wear resistance, and toughness.
The second part is the wire sheath, also known as the insulation sheath. As the name suggests, its main function is to isolate external objects from direct contact with the current during use, thus ensuring safe usage.
The third part is the inner core. The inner core is the core part of the power cord. It is the direct contact between the electrical appliance and the current, and also the medium between the current and the electrical appliance. The material of the inner core is usually copper, so the quality of the copper core directly affects the quality of the power cord.
